I’m a reporter making The Last Days of August with Jon Ronson. Previously, we made The Butterfly Effect — a show about porn — which was called one of the year's fifty best podcasts by Time Magazine & The Sunday Times, a “favorite new podcast” by NPR, "eye-opening and oddly uplifting” by The Financial Times, and “unexpectedly moving” by Slate.
My stories have been on This American Life, NPR, KCRW, Radiotopia, and Gimlet.
The A.V. Club called me 2015’s “Biggest Journalistic Heartbreaker” and New York Magazine’s pop culture blog featured one of my stories in a list titled “The One Podcast to Start With, Across 24 Topics." Matthew Weiner once told me I remind him of a "thicker" Tina Fey.
In past lives, I was a producer at NPR, a Page at NBC, and an intern at Saturday Night Live. I live in Brooklyn with my hairless cat named Varys.
